For the second time, Dancehall Ketch Up made its way to London for City Splash, one of the UK’s biggest celebrations of Caribbean culture. And unlike our previous visit two years ago, where the weather had other plans, London blessed us with sunshine from start to finish this time around.
Dancehall Ketch Up is back at Summerjam Festival 2026 to highlight Jamaican culture from different angles: with Famous returning as host, Lumos supporting the visuals and a mission to ketch the real festival vybz beyond the stage.
Jamaican dancer Sashi DB, formerly of Dance Xpressionz, steps into music with a heartfelt Dancehall song dedicated to fellow dancers. Inspired by the loss of a friend, the track turns grief into appreciation, highlighting connection, community and the importance of giving dancers their flowers while they are still here.
