Only 15 more days and SummerJam Festival 2025 will once again turn Cologne’s Fühlinger See into Europe’s biggest hotspot for Reggae, Dancehall & Hip-Hop! From July 4 to 6, three days of live music, culture and vibes are waiting – with more than 39 international and national acts on the stages.
This year’s line-up brings some true highlights: Vybz Kartel, making his first German festival appearance in over 20 years, and Afrobeats superstar Davido, with an exclusive Germany show. Also confirmed are: Shenseea, Beenie Man, Alborosie, Inner Circle, Mr. Vegas, Morgan Heritage, Etana, Third World, Junior Kelly, The Skatalites, Max Herre & Joy Denalane, K.I.Z, Irie Révoltés, Paula Hartmann, Ennio, Curse, GReeeN, and many more.

The full festival weekend will once again bring thousands of music lovers together – with live shows, sound system vibes, Caribbean and African cuisine, art installations, workshops, and a one-of-a-kind lakeside setting.
We’re also looking forward to ketch up with Lanae and her management Carlington, who we got to talk to in 2023. It’s great to see her growth — now featured on one of the biggest festival stages in Germany. We can’t wait!

One artist we’re especially excited for this year: Beenie Man. After sadly missing his appearance last year due to Hurricane Beryl, it’s even more special to see him back on the line-up – and we can’t wait to finally ketch his live performance this time!
For Dancehall Ketch Up, SummerJam is more than just a weekend of shows – it’s about representing the culture: highlighting Dancehall and its roots on all fields, shining a light on dancers, giving visibility to the people building the scenes and celebrating Jamaican culture overseas. We’re looking forward to ketch some dancers on stage and to dive into this year’s Dancehall Class moments.

A big highlight for us this year: Jamaican entertainer Chris Icon is joining Dancehall Ketch Up’s team as official host for SummerJam 2025!
Well known across the global Dancehall scene – and with deep-rooted experience in German culture – Chris Icon brings years of experience from the streets of Jamaica to the international stage. He will lead conversations, interviews and cultural insights – giving a dual perspective not many can offer.

And fans of Dancehall should not miss this year’s Basshall Takeover on Friday night in the Dancehall Arena – with Kybba, Tribal Kush, Limitlezz, Kalibwoy, NEMS and more. Expect a fusion of Dancehall, Latin, Afrobeats and electronic vibes – this night will definitely set the arena on fire.
This year also includes the ever-popular Beach Splash Party, taking place Saturday afternoon at Blackfoot Beach – hosted by ZJ Chrome, official DJ for Vybz Kartel, alongside Jugglerz. Expect a tropical, high-energy crowd experience from 12:30 to 15:00 with Caribbean vibes and sunny rhythms.
