Vybz Kartel and Mavado made Dancehall history with a mind-blowing Gaza vs. Gully reunion in Jamaica. After performing together in the birthplace of Dancehall, the Jamaican icons are heading to London and Freedom Street Europe in Malta.
Summerjam Festival 2026 brought vibrant Caribbean music to Cologne, showcasing Reggae, Dancehall, and Hip-Hop. Coverage focused on the complete festival experience, featuring crowd moments, performances, and food. The festival had a positive atmosphere, despite a smaller crowd, attributed in part to competing events. Notable performances included a powerful set by headliner Spice, emphasizing the importance of representation in Dancehall culture.
